Cancellation Policy

Per our policy, Roots requires 24 hours in notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment with our Fort Collins beauty salon. In the event that we are in that 24 hour window of your reservation, Roots will charge a cancellation fee equal to 100% of the cost of the scheduled service(s).

In order to book an appointment a credit or debit card must be put on file at the time of booking. The card will only be charged under the following circumstances:

- Less than 24 hour notice for cancellation or rescheduling

- “NO CALL/NO SHOWS”

- Late Arrival (More than 15 minutes after your scheduled time)

Cancellation fees may roll over to your next appointment if it is able to be rescheduled for a time within two weeks of the missed appointment with the same stylist.

In the event that we are unable to charge your card on file for a cancellation fee (missing card info, card declined, etc.), you will be required to update your card information before booking and pre-pay for future appointments.

About the Policy

Your appointments are very important to our stylists, although the time is reserved especially for you, we understand that sometimes schedule adjustments are necessary; therefore, we respectfully request at least 24 hours notice for cancellation.

Please understand that when you forget or cancel your appointment without adequate notice, we miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time, and clients on our waiting list miss the opportunity to receive services. Our appointments are confirmed 48 hours in advance because we know how easy it is to forget an appointment that could have been booked weeks or months in advance.

The cancellation policy allows us the time to inform our guests of any availability and to remain respectful our stylists’ time.

Extenuating Circumstances

If you need to cancel an appointment outside of our normal business hours, you may leave us a voicemail at (970) 484-2119 or send an email to rootsbeautystudio@gmail.com to inform us of an appointment cancellation. Voicemails and emails received outside of the 24 hour cancellation period will be accepted and result in no cancellation fee. Please be sure to include your name and appointment details (date and time) in voicemail/email to ensure cancellation.

Exceptions to this policy may be made at the discretion of our management team for unforseen, unavoidable circumstances (Ex: medical emergencies). We understand that life happens and want to remain as flexible as possible in these situations. In order to be considered for an exception, extenuating circumstances must be communicated to us at the time of cancellation. However, for the sake of respecting your privacy, we will not ask your reasoning for cancelled/missed appointments so this information must be given to us willingly, without prompting.
